Haze Air Quality & Weather App
I love a good weather app, I’m equally geeky about weather as I am about Apple products. Whilst randomly searching the App Store the icon for ‘Haze’ really caught my eye and in this instance judging a book by its cover really worked, once installed and the app opened I was taken back by the simplicity of the layout and quality of the interface and graphics.
As I delved deeper in to the app and settings it’s a really well thought out and put together app, with information to back up the numbers and graphics being displaying to you.
Within the one pop up window for you’re current location or saved location you’re presented with the…
Current Conditions
Current Temperature
The Feels Like
Max and Min - Temp
The next 12 hours forecast
5 Dar forecast (with perception chance %)
Full Air Quality Index, fully broken down.
At the bottom of the locations page, and depending on the Air Quality index for you’re location is 4 icons.
Window
Person doing exercise
Person wearing a mask
Air purifier
By tapping on these icons, it’ll give you a quick and simple sentence of the action to take or what its safe to be doing. “From close windows and doors to its safe to exercise outside.”
The icon set and information is quick and clear to read, and in the free version you can have your current location and 4 others.
The second tab, is a maps section, which shows your stored locations and then when you press and hold on a area you can pull up the information from the closest weather station to that area, pressing the i icon opens up the familiar conditions window.
Haze works on both iPhone and iPad - fully supported for full screen on the iPad too and a full compliment of widgets too, either focusing on the weather conditions or the air quality conditions.
And to mix things up a little bit you can change up the App Icon to suit your taste, for me the its the four colours Apple style one.
Haze weather as a premium version which for a small yearly fee or slightly more lifetime fee, or a tiny monthly fee, by supporting the developer you can enjoy cross devices syncing, unlimited cities in your saved locations and AR View the ability to see the density of harmful pollutants around you
